David Lee Summers is an
author, editor and astronomer living somewhere between the western and final
frontiers. He is the editor of Tales of the Talisman Magazine and the
Flying Pen Press Anthologies Space Pirates and Space Horrors. David has also published six novels. Among them are Vampires of the Scarlet
Order and The Solar Sea. His latest novel, Dragon's Fall, is
scheduled for publication in 2010. David
has published more than 50 short stories in such magazines and anthologies as Realms
of Fantasy, Bad-Ass Faeries 3: In All Their Glory, 2020 Visions, The Vampire's
Crypt, Aoife's Kiss, and Science Fiction Trails. His poem "A Tale of Three Worlds"
was nominated for the 2010 Rhysling Award.
In addition to his work in the written word, David works at Kitt Peak
National Observatory.
